Offered for sale is an exquisite little buckle ring done in 14kt yellow gold. It is decorated with Persian turquoise and tiny white seed pearls. This delicate little ring sports the popular buckle design popular during the Victorian era. One one side of the buckle, the shank is mirror finished and clean and on the other side the shank is etched and there are 2 round turquoise stones along with 2 tiny seed pearls. The buckle area itself has 4 tiny seed pearls that accent the buckle.
Inside the shank, there is a worn 14kt mark along with worn assay marks. My guess is these are English hallmarks. The inside circumference is about 15mm across. The shank in the back measures 3mm in width. Gram weight is 2 grams. Overall condition is good pre-owned condition. Circa 1850-1890.
Please note, this is a teensy tiny ring at an approximate size 4. Although it is marked as an adults ring, it could easily be considered a childs ring as well. It would be a great pinky ring for a petite woman or someone with very slim fingers. It would look lovely on a chain or charm holder.
Thank you for looking!
