Here is an outstanding and rare Napier sterling silver vermeil chunky bracelet. This one makes quite a statement and would complete any outfit standing alone.
There are 8 stations or panels altogether linked together by 2 links or 14 altogether. Each station is made of 2 inverted 'shields' with overlapping edges that look like a trefoil or partial fleur de lis design. The measurements are 7-3/8 inches by 1-5/8 inches wide. The Napier Sterling mark is found on the tongue of the clasp and there is a Pat. Pending mark on the box of the clasp.
The condition is good pre-owned vintage. The vermeil is a very pale wash, not heavy, and some of the areas have some spots of tarnish. This could be polished but I don't know if that could take more of the gold wash away. I like the way it looks as it is. It shows the lovely patina and little wear that comes with age. I believe this piece is circa 1945. It weighs an incredible approximate 74 grams sterling, very substantial!
