I believe this beautiful sterling necklace is Taxco from Mexico. The word sterling is inscribed on the cone shaped end caps near the lobster claw clasp.
This long and fluid necklace measures about 30 inches in length from end to end. There are 126 perfectly round sterling beads each measuring about 4-5mm around. The lobster claw clasp is in good working order but this necklace slips easily over the head. You could possibly wrap it around your wrist several times to make a multi-strand bracelet if you wanted. I have paired it with an early 20th century sterling and moonstone necklace in picture 8, very pretty together.
Overall condition is very good, circa 1970.
