The warm ecru clay used to make these woven ceramic Italian baskets is so appealing. Standing 3 1/2” tall, 4 3/8” wide, and 4 ¼” deep, they have pink and yellow roses with green leaves applied on both sides. When gazing at it, it is hard to find a pink rose has a small chip; some of the leaves are missing some green paint – one looks chipped, but I think it’s just missing paint; there are also several firing cracks in the pieces, especially around where the handles were applied. Otherwise, this 1960s souvenir of a young bride’s trip to Italy is in wonderful condition. It is hand marked, underglaze Italy.
These are priced as a pair.
We have two other small woven baskets and larger one that could be purchased as companions to these.
