This exquisite 18" tall porcelain doll has a lovely face with blue eyes, blonde hair and eyebrows, light red pursed lips, and softly tinted checks. Her hand-sewn clothing is couture for her day with fitted cotton camisole and lovely lace and ribbon bloomers and slip; she is from the early 1900s. The tailored top fits her perfectly and is trimmed with a lace collar and cuffs. The skirt has a bustle back which helps to highlight its longer length in back and is shirred and gathered in the front to give it a gorgeous flow. She is wearing a green bonnet that is trimmed with ribbons of coral, yellow, light blue, and light pink; it ties under her chin with a coral gros grain ribbon. The colors in her bonnet highlight the greens and corals in her skirt and top. Her porcelain hands are formed with all the fingers together and are in excellent shape. Her lower legs, attached to her cloth body, are porcelain with brown porcelain high heel shoes. She is in excellent, clean condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. There are no holes in the shoulder plate; the back shoulder plate is marked Germany. The skirt has a light stain in it which looks like it would come out with a good cleaning, but we will leave that to the new owner. She doesn’t have any odors.
