For many generations, moms would pack small boxes of raisins in their children’s lunch boxes to carry off to school with them, and this late 1990s Maggie Mixup is dressed like the Sun-Maid Raisin girl who graced the front of the raisin boxes. We used to be Madame Alexander doll dealers and are offering this adorable doll that has never been removed from the box. Our other photos show another of these dolls that is out on display. She is dressed in a darling red skirt trimmed in blue and green braid, puffy-sleeved blouse trimmed in blue, an eyelet trimmed white apron, and the oversized red bonnet. Under her dress she has white, lace-trimmed pantaloons and dons black shoes and white socks. Also included with this doll is a basket with grapes and hangs on her arm; it’s wrapped and tucked in the box. She is absolutely precious. In the usual Madame Alexander style, this doll’s outfit spares few details. She is in excellent condition, has never been played with and has always been in a smoke-free environment. She still has her original arm tag, and box. The Alexander Co. cards are inside her original box.
We used to be authorized Madame Alexander Doll dealers and have many other dolls which have not yet been placed on Ruby Lane.
