This 4 3/8” long sterling spoon commemorates the famous Danish story penned by Hans Christian Andersen in the early 1800sm making it a great souvenir of one’s travels to Denmark. The mermaid on the spoon is fashioned after the famous statue of a mermaid sitting on a rock looking out to sea that was erected in Copenhagen. It is marked Sterling BH Denmark on the back and has no condition issues other than minor marks and needing a bit more polishing. It was with the box pictured in the last photo; so I assume that is the box the spoon came in.
