In 1938, Taylor, Smith, & Taylor came out with their own brightly colored mix and match dinnerware in green, yellow, blue, red, and maroon. The pieces were solid color with a “piecrust” border. They only produced this pattern from 1938-1942. This creamer and sugar with lid are in the satin green color. The sugar bowl is 5 ¼” handle to handle and 4” tall to the top of the lid. The creamer is 4 ¾” from the spout to the handle and 2 ¾” tall. They are immaculate. I haven’t detected any utensil marks; the surface is absolutely beautiful. They look like they have never been used. They are wonderful! There is a tiny pin hole size spot that is a result of the manufacturing process on the sugar bowl.
We have a green and yellow service for two listed for sale in our shop. It would be fun to mix and match.
This would be a lovely addition to your vintage kitchen collection or to use every day at the dinner table. Please contact us if you have any questions.
