Some child had a great time playing with his/her blocks, stacking them in the wagon and then taking them for a ride. The wagon holds 14 wooden blocks that have colored letters on two sides, and stenciled pictures, numbers and letters on the other sides. Pictures include: duck, been, eyeglasses, apple, house, horse, helicopter, star, locomotive, to name a few. Most of the stencils are still very readable, but some have been played with enough to be less legible. The little, all-wood wagon is 6 5/8” long and 4 3/8” wide (not counting the wheels). A string is attached to pull it with, but somebody must have practiced making knots with the string, since it has a series of very tight knots on it. The child also tied a thread spool on the string for a better grip. Everything is in very good, vintage, played-with condition. The dovetailing on one corner of the wagon is not pulled tightly in the corner, but it isn’t loose; so apparently the glue is still holding.
This would be a charming addition to your vintage toy collection or just as a colorful, primitive display. Please contact us if you have any questions.
