This little figure appears to be quite rare. I have researched for days, and I haven’t been able to find another one exactly like him. There are newer, larger ones, but I can’t find one that is 6 ¼” tall. He favors the Popeye figures that were made by Jaymar in the 1930s, but this Pinocchio has no visible maker’s marks. His colors are still vivid, in spite of some wear on him from play. The elastic holding him together is still flexible; although he cannot stand along without having something to support him. He is just so cute and unusual.
This would be a wonderful addition to your vintage toy collection. Please contact us if you have any questions.
