From the price that is printed on the front of this water color tin, this has to be from the late 1950s or early’60s. The paints are Binney & Smith brand, the same company that makes Crayola crayons. The box measures 8 ¼” x 2” and holds eight paint colors inside, which haven’t been used very much. The finish on the box is still very shiny and reflected the light from the window when I was taking the photos. There are a few scuff marks, but that is to be expected for a 50-year-old box of paints!
