This peaceful fiber duck hen decoy looks almost identical to the ones made in the 1940-50s era by General Fibre Co. of St. Louis, but this one has no marks on the bottom, but she’s from the same era. She is made of light weight fibrous material and is adorned with glass eyes and greenish bill, black wing highlights and white tail feathers. The duck is approx. 12 ½” long, 6” high and 5 ½” wide. There is a metal loop on her underside to attach a weight or line. Her mostly brown body with detailed feathers has some paint loss and there is a slight dent on one side of the top of her head, but doesn’t distract. She is in expected 65-70 year old shape.
This would be a great addition to your den, man cave or duck collection. Please contact us if you have any questions.
