What a cute scenario - Mama cat is teaching her kitties to play ball! This adorable family of porcelain cats was made in Japan probably in the 1950s – 1960s. The cats are white with patches of gray/brown on their heads and back ends and on mama’s side. The mother cat is 4 1/2" long and 4 1/8" tall. The kittens are 1 3/4" to 2" long and 1 7/8" tall to 1 3/8" tall There is some paint loss on the orange/red balls. Over the years the tips of the ears of mama cat and one of the kittens have been chipped a tiny bit but not enough to detract from the cuteness factor! There are no cracks or crazing. Something that looks like tape residue is stuck on the back of mama cat’s ear. Even though there are some minor issues with this delightful feline family, they are full of charm.
