This rustic metal flour bin came from an estate that was totally decorated with primitives; it was hanging on a kitchen wall and looked adorable with all the other old kitchen items. Measuring 14” tall, 8 ½” wide and 7 /12” deep, it has a small wire lever that opens the bottom lid to be able to scoop flour, and, of course, there is a lid on top to pour the flour into the bin. There are two holes on one side that show where it was attached to the inside of a kitchen cabinet. There is also a hole at the top of the back where it was hung many years later on the wall as a decoration, and there is a hole closer to the bottom on the back that is from wear and age – gives it character! There is discoloration and a little wear in the metal, but nothing that is detracting to the piece, it just attests to its use and age.
This would be a charming addition to your country, farm, or primitive collection. It would also be cute to tole paint. Please contact us if you have any questions.
