These great mid-century wood trays have probably carried a lot of ice cold aluminum tumblers in their day! The trays are so cheery with the bright yellow striped fish and green water plants, and have a nice satin finish on the bleached oak wood. The corners are trimmed in chrome, which was so popular in the 1950s. The largest tray measures 15 ¾” x 10”; middle tray is 14 ½” x 8 ½”; the smallest tray measure 13 ¼” x 7 ¼”. The trays are 5/8” deep. Each has a paper tag on the back: Made for Standard Specialty Co, Japan. The trays all have the same bright, hand-painted design on them and are in excellent used, vintage condition. The largest tray does have a thin crack at one corner (pictured), but it is still serviceable and doesn’t detract.
This would be a wonderful addition to your Mid-century collection or to use everyday. Please contact us if you have any questions.
