Hand vases were very popular during the late Victorian era and then resurfaced in the second quarter of the 20th century. This particular little opaline glass jewel measures 4 ½” tall, 3 5/8” wide and the diameter of the base is 2 ¾”. These pieces could be used for bud vases or this one may even be able to hold calling cards. Both the hand holding the fan and the flowers on the fan are hand painted. The glass is in excellent shape with only marks from the mold. There are no chips or cracks.
This would be a delightful addition to your vintage/antique glass collection or to use every day to place a posy on your table. Please contact us if you have any questions. We will always consider any reasonable offer for our pieces.
