Consolidated Glass Co. made this lovely cosmos or stemless daisy pattern in opaque glass for only 21 years, from 1894-1915. The pattern has a cross hatch background with pink, yellow, and blue stemless flowers on the body of the pitcher. There is pink casing on the top. This pattern could go with a formal set of china as well as your everyday pattern – either way it would look wonderful on your table. The piece is in very good condition with just a little roughness on the mouth of the spout; it could use a good cleaning. The pitcher is 8 ½” tall. This piece was obtained from a Texas estate and still has its price tag from the 1960s when the estate owner purchased it from an antique store; she paid $235.00 for it almost 50 years ago.
This would be a fun piece to serve your friends lemonade while sitting on your porch. Please contact us if you have any questions.
