Set of Two Old Colony Pattern Teaspoons by 1847 Rogers Bros

Manufactured from 1911-1973, this 1847 Rogers Bros. Old Colony pattern of triple silverplate flatware is a highly sought-after pattern. The pattern is elegant, but simple in its lines with a floral garland draping the handle. These 6” long teaspoons are easy to hold and substantial feeling in your hand. The silver plate is still shiny, but the spoons do have use marks on them, and the bowl of one of the spoons is dulled a bit, not as shiny as the other. They don’t look like they were ever put in the dishwasher. The spoons are not monogrammed nor do they have a flower on the back.

1847 Rogers Bros. was one of many company lines that the Rogers family produced over many decades. This line became a prominent feature of the International Silver Company that was formed by many silver and silverplate manufacturers in 1898.
