This interesting small wooden bowl was definitely not precision machined! Even though the finish has a sand-smooth finish, it is a bit off-center and has a few “blips” in its shape. It roughly measures 8 7/8” x 8 ¼” and is 1 7/8” deep. The lip is 5/8” thick. I’m not sure what a small bowl like this was originally intended for, but it would be great for housing apples, onions, children’s building blocks or smaller pine cones or Christmas ornaments. There are a few stains in the wood and, as mentioned, it is out of round but does have character.
