From the estate a Texas oil family who enjoyed interesting items from their travels, these two hand-stitched and decorated 5” tall camels. They are decorated in a Bedouin style with fringe, cording, and fabric. One has sequins for eyes and the other had drawn-on eyes. Each was machine stitched at the belly, but the rest has been sewn together with a heavy darker thread. We have studied these and can’t tell if it is genuine leather that they are made from or a leather-like material. If it isn’t leather, it is a wonderful imitation. Each stands on its own without help. Other than a little mussing of the red fringe, these are in wonderful condition.
These are being sold as a pair.
