Three-Piece Set of 1950s Superior Brand Off-White Dollhouse Bathroom

Tobias Cohn started his toy company around 1900, first manufacturing high quality tin litho dollhouses and other metal toys. At that time, he was working with the Lido Company who made the small accessories that went with the metal toys. Apparently, later he began making his own accessories, such as the ones we have for sale, and named his company Superior Toy Co.

This cream or off-white color bathroom set includes a corner tub unit, measuring 3 3/8” at its widest, 7/8” tall, 2 3/4” deep; a toilet 1 1/8” wide, 1 1/2” tall, 1 1/4” deep; and a hamper that is 7/8” wide, 1 1/8” tall, and 1/2” deep. The bathtub, sink, and hamper are each marked with Superior written on a banner on a pole. The three pieces are in good condition with no cracks in the plastic; however, one side of the tub wall has a hole at the bottom – I can’t tell if it was made that way or if it is damage, but it doesn’t really detract from the piece. Also, the back of the lid on the hamper is rough, and, again, I can’t tel if it is from being played with or if a bad pour into the mold, but not detracting.

These are being sold as a set of three pieces. We do have an off-white Superior brand kitchen set listed for sale in our shop.
