In 1938, Taylor, Smith, & Taylor came out with their brightly colored mix and match dinnerware, Vistosa, in green, yellow, blue, mango red, and maroon. The pieces were solid color with a “piecrust” border. The Vistosa pattern was only produced from 1938-1942. This yellow cup and saucer is in excellent condition with wonderful sheen to the glaze. There are marks on the back of the saucer that show where it was placed on the kiln rack, but that’s just part of the manufacturing process. It’s just adorable!
We have a creamer and lidded sugar bowl and other cups and saucers listed for sale in our shop. It would be fun to mix and match.
This would be a lovely addition to your vintage kitchen collection or to use every day at the dinner table. Please look at the photos closely, they are part of the description of the item. We will always consider any reasonable offer for our pieces. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Because of a court ruling, Ruby Lane is having to collect sales tax from buyers who live in states that impose a sales tax.
