The Friendly Village by Johnson Brothers was first manufactured in 1953. It has become a very popular pattern. The different scenes call up memories of a more tranquil time when life wasn’t as hectic as it is today. These 5” wide berry bowls are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This pattern was discontinued in 2003, and after that production of these plates was moved to the country of China. The pieces we are selling are marked Made in England, so are the original plates.
