Royal Doulton, a renowned manufacturer of fine bone china, was founded in England in 1815. This whimsical Bunnykins pattern, first made in 1936, consists of many different scenes of “bunny life”. This 8” plate, “Toppling Cart”, depicts a cart full of produce spilling out onto the road as the rabbits and even a couple of mice scurry out of the way. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There are no utensil marks. The plate looks like it has never been used.
