This appears to have actually been made to be a birdhouse, but it’s too cute to put out in the weather for birds to nest in. This would make a great companion with a dollhouse. This piece sits on a green painted wooden base that measures 9 3/8” x 7 ¾”. Outside of the 10” tall (to the top of the chimney) diner are two wooden tables with checked table cloths and wooden benches. There is a sign that states it serves shakes and hamburgers and is open 24 hours a day. The sign post doesn’t stand completely straight and wobbles just a bit, but it is secure. There are wooden striped awnings over the front windows and door (with a round hole for the birds). The roof is a curved piece of what looks like bark. The piece is in good vintage condition with a few nicks and a bent corner on the back of the bark roof. The big chimney for smoking bar-b-que is a bit wobbly but secure; the tablecloths are faded a little.
This would be a wonderful addition to your miniature or doll collection or to display alone. Please contact us if you have any questions.
