What a wonderfully bright accent piece – and doubly good for bird lovers! After World War II, Japan got back on its economic feet by manufacturing and exporting reasonably priced porcelain pieces that showed up in lots of American households. Decorated as branches for the two brightly colored parakeets to perch, this double vase measures 5 ¾” tall, 5 1/4” wide and 2 1/2” deep. Other than wear on the bottom and a couple of manufacturing paint flaws, it is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or crazing.
This would be an interesting addition to your bird or Mid-Century collection or as a stand along decorative piece. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Please look at the photos closely, they are part of the description of the item. We will always consider any reasonable offer for our pieces.
