This was a very well-loved little pencil box, and it’s oh so charming, too. The 8 ½” x 2 3/8” x 1 3/8” box even has a little lock on it; unfortunately, we don’t have a key. On the lid is a lithograph of three scenes of children at play; part of it is torn, but it is still delightful. Inside the box, a child has written her name, Agnes Larsen, and Denmark with the beginning of another word underneath that. On the bottom is written 5 cents. The box is made out of a very light-weight wood and shows its use over the years, but it has so much character.
This would be darling addition to your children’s toys collection. Please contact us if you have any questions.
