The shiny red paint on this darling child’s wooden stool is much newer than the stool itself, but isn’t it cheery? When looking at the underneath side, you can see that it has old red paint, but I guess someone wanted to brighten it up and cover up decades’ worth of dings and bumps – I would guess that the piece is from the 1940s-50s. The stool measures 14” wide, 7 7/8” deep and 8 ¼” and is sturdily made with very thick wood; so it’s pretty heavy. It’s very clean looking with the fresher paint but retains its character with the wear that still shows, along with a piece missing on the top side – it looks like a knot how fell out of the wood. How cute!
This would be an adorable addition to your large doll collection or decorate your child’s room with so that they can sit on it to tie their shoes or read. It would also be darling sitting in front of a fireplace or on a patio to sit plants around. Please contact us if you have any questions.
The doll is sold separately and is not a part of this listing.
