Describing a chamber pot can become a bit indelicate, but this little glass child’s pot with the puppy on the front would surely entice any child of the early 20th century to be potty trained. The pot was made by TEGCO which is an acronym for the Technical Glass Co. of Los Angeles, CA, a company that patented glass knobs, cabinet pulls, and light fixtures going back to the 1920s. This heavy little chamber pot is 7 3/8” wide to the edge of the handle and is 3” tall. The pot itself is 6 7/8” in diameter. It has a wide lip around the pot, I’m sure to help make the tot feel more secure. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips; there are mold marks, but that is from manufacturing.
This would be a unique addition to your glass or children’s collection or for holding a pot of flowers. Please contact us if you have any questions.
