This ewer shaped pitcher takes you back to mid-century modern days. It is similar to a ewer that Blenko designed in the late 1950s early l960s, but, after much research, I don’t believe that it is a Blenko. This was just a very popular shape and color during that time period. The crackle glass pitcher stands 12” tall and is about 5 ¾” from outside of the applied handle to the opposite far side. It is handblown and bears the pontil mark. I cannot find a signature anywhere, but it may have had a paper tag many years ago. It came from the estate of a collector of modern, handblown glass, so it is a quality piece. It is in excellent condition with not chips, cracks or flea bites. It is a substantial piece, weighing 2 lbs. 8 oz.
These would make a beautiful addition to your glass collection. Please contact us if you have any questions. We will always consider any reasonable offer for our pieces.
