In the late-1990s as we counted down to a new millennium and feared the world-wide crash of our computers, Madame Alexander came out with a Through the Decades series, depicting trends, history and fashions of each decade of the 20th century. This 8” Maggie Mix-up is dressed as a young woman in her “Flower Power” fabric dress which is accented by gold metal belt. She has on white Go-Go boots that are embellished with vinyl red and yellow flowers; under her boots she has shiny hose that sparkle. She has a brightly colored braided hair ornament on her head. No detail has been spared, which is always the way with Madame Alexander dolls. She is in her pristine condition. She still has her original arm tag, Alexander Co. cards and box. The dolls of this series were limited in number and Madame Alexander issued a certificate of authenticity with each doll. This particular doll is number 3585 out of 4000 1960 Flower Child dolls they made.
We have most of dolls for each decade for sale. See the last photo to see what each looks like.
We used to be authorized Madame Alexander Doll dealers and have many other dolls placed on Ruby Lane.
