The Nelson McCoy Sanitary and Stoneware Company was established April 1910 in Roseville, Ohio. By 1929 the name was changed to Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Company. It was around this time that they began the practice of marking their products. This wonderful 5 ½” tall tan/salmon color pitcher has two water lilies on each side and flowers around the top. The handle is made to look like a fish. The pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, only imperfections from the manufacturing process which is typical. It holds 16 oz. The only mark on the bottom is the number 30 which would date the manufacture of the pitcher prior to 1929.
This would be a wonderful addition to your McCoy collection or to use every day. Please contact us if you have any questions.
