This darling old quilt would be a wonderful gift for any baby – boy or girl – since it has precious little girls and boys on it. The lightweight quilt with thin cotton batting, measures 52” x 35”, and would also be darling as a wall hanging in a child’s room. It has a simple hand-stitched diamond quilted pattern, and each little child is hand appliqued onto the quilt and hand decorated with buttons, bows, and flower patterns. The pink quilt top looks to be polished cotton and the back is an off white. There are a few light spots on it, but nothing that detracts from this l950s quilt. There are no tears or worn places in it.
