From an estate that everything had been boxed and put away, this sweet satin baby blanket was just unpacked from being tucked away for almost 70 years. Measuring 46” x 36”, it is pink on one side and blue on the other; however, the blue has faded to a very light shade, which makes sense because the baby boy who used this would have had to blue side out. The blanket, which does have some batting, is quilted in a ribboned flower pattern, with the machine stitching done in pink on the pink side and blue on the blue side. The blanket is in excellent condition with no wear, tears, thread pulls or holes; there are several small, light spots that are hard to detect because of the sheen of the satin. When you hold the blanket at different angles, you can pick up the spots, but you have to look for them. There is no odor on the blanket.
