From the estate of a retired military officer during the late 1940-50 era, these 6 ¼” tall vases have intricate brass wirework in a turquoise enamel. A floral design of pink, red and green is the main focus, but the pieces are set off with enameled blue, red and white ruyi around the brass mouth and blue at the foot of each vase. All over the vases are tiny coils of wirework. They are in excellent condition with no loss of enamel or wiring; the brass, as usual, has a few spots of slight discoloration. There is a small amount of tiny pitting in the enamel.
These are priced as a pair.
