Community introduced the Morning Star silver plate flatware in 1948. It has a gentle floral design that almost takes on an Art Nouveau feel but also has a geometric side to it giving it an Art Deco look also. This pattern was very popular with families who were putting their lives together after the dark days of World War II. The master butter knife measures 7” long, and the sugar shell is 6” long. They are still in very good condition but do show use marks on them, a hazard of a family sitting down and eating together around the dinner table!
These are priced as a set of two pieces.

Because of a court ruling, Ruby Lane is having to collect sales tax from buyers who live in states that impose a sales tax.
