In 1912, high in the secluded Italian Alps in the tiny village of Groden, Anton Riffeser united many of the region’s craftsmen to join his workshop to produce fine wood carvings. Taking the first two letters of his first and last names, the House of ANRI came to be known as the ultimate source of high quality, collectible wood figures.
Since its inception, ANRI has always recognized designs and drawings that could be interpreted into figures by master crafts people, and this music box is no exception. This 5” tall piece is hand crafted and hand painted, making it unique, since no two are exactly alike. Decorated with shamrocks, it is no surprise that it plays “Danny Boy.” It is in excellent condition, with only a few tiny flaws from being hand done.
We also have other ANRI pieces listed for sale in our shop.
These would make a wonderful addition to your music box or Irish collection. Please view all of the photos, since they are part of the description.
Please contact us if you have any questions. We will always consider any reasonable offer for our pieces.
