I don’t know if these eggs were originally made for decorative purposes or if they were for utilitarian purposes, but they are really interesting and would look great in a bowl or with a collection of other items. The wood has no fragrance, so I don’t think they were used for warding off moths in a woolens drawer. These roughly 2 ½” long eggs are polished to a satin smoothness and have attractive graining to them. Each egg is about 1 ¼” in diameter (at the widest). They are in excellent condition with no cracks or nicks. There are a couple of tiny knot holes, but that’s just the nature of wood!
These are priced as a set of seven eggs.
