This wonderful vintage porcelain 7 ¾” casserole with lid was made by Cordon Bleu B.I.A. in France. Established in 1952, Cordon Bleu B.I.A. is a leading manufacturer of porcelain and stoneware serving accessories, bakeware and dinnerware. The casserole is decorated with three different beautiful bird designs. The design is similar to the Port Meirion birds and would be a great companion piece. The dish is 5 ¾” wide and 3 1/8” deep. It is in excellent condition and looks like it was used very little if at all. The lip that holds the lid and the bottom of the dish are not glazed. It is marked on the bottom Cordon Bleu B.I.A. France and incised with the number 5
