In all my years in the antique business, I’ve never run across any tumblers like these. The art of glass blowing intrigues me, and the artistry in these glasses is outstanding. The artist was able to infuse red and white into the highly textured and heavy tumblers. They look like pieces of a puzzle, only this is a glass puzzle! The tumblers are approximately 6” tall with a diameter of 2 ½”. Since these are handblown, none of the glasses are exactly the same height. The pontil mark is obvious on the bottom of each glass. They are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips, except of a small chip on the bottom on one, which doesn’t show when sitting up.
This would be a wonderful addition to your art glass collection or to use every day on your dining table. Please contact us if you have any questions.
