The classic design of the blue/green Mosaic pattern by Theodore Haviland New York is timeless. Since this is a rather tailored pattern, the serving pieces could be used to complement other china patterns that you may have. Case in point, these pieces came from an estate where they were using these Mosaic as serving pieces to the Minton Stanwood china table settings. It was quite lovely as a mix on the dining table.
The pattern is made of a small, simple floral garland encircled by a gold trim and a tiny mottled (mosaic) trim on warm ivory china. The mark on the bottom was used beginning in 1937; this pattern was discontinued decades ago. These 7 ¾” soup bowls are in excellent condition with very few utensil marks, only tiny loss of gold, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
We have several pieces in this pattern listed in our shop.
