Own a piece of aviation history with this set of seven espresso mugs that Braniff used to serve their first class customers their specialty hot drinks. The bottom of the mugs indicates that these were expressly made for Braniff International by Hall China. The Braniff brothers started the airline company in 1928 with one brother, Paul, piloting a single engine Stinson Detroiter, flying one passenger from Oklahoma City to Tulsa. Before the company disappeared, they were flying the Concorde SST across the country and around the world. The mugs are 4” tall and 2” in diameter. The Braniff logo is on the bottom of the mug. These china mugs are in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, only a few expected wear marks.
This would make a wonderful addition to your aviation, Mid-Century or china collection. Please contact us if you have any questions.
These are priced as a set of seven.
