If only this hammer could talk – how many shoes do you suppose it has made or repaired? Measuring 10 ¼” long, the slender wooden handle has been worn down to a smooth finish but displays its many shoe polish stains. The 4 ½ long head of the hammer has two different shaped ends, neither of which is sharp or pointed so as not to scratch the leather. There is a metal cap on the other end. This is such an interesting old tool; it shows it was used a lot, but what character it has!
