A lovely ornate set of antique sterling spoons with the beautiful Victorian scrolls and deep casting from that era made by the Wendell Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois from the late 1800s.
Each one measures about 6" in length, the spoon to the stem is about 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". In good antique condition without any breaks or repairs, they have been monogrammed with initials on the ends, I believe they are M.G.W. but its in fancy script, so it's hard to tell.
The reverse is stamped with a lion then a W then another lion all in a circle, dating them to about 1885 by what my research showed, Wendell was in business from 1885-1910.
