A sweet lil' French bebe pin with the word Be'be' separated by a round cartouche in the middle an impressed figure of a baby's profile signed 'R' on the right side it has little flowers designs on either end.

It measures about 1 1/4" x 1/4" and is made of silverplated metal that is thick and hollow in the middle, with a very pretty detail of a rose medallion on the reverse with floral detailing on either side. It has the typical French clasp that holds fine.

In good antique condition you see that some of the silver plate has worn away and there are scratches to the metal if viewed with a loop but this is all very consistent in the age. The pin back may or may not be a replacement, I can't tell (this is how I bought it).

I had it sent to me from France, so I believe it is French in origin, circa early 1900s. You see it modeled in the last photo on one of my 21" dolls so you get an idea of how it would look on one of yours. Like all of my jewels, the pin will arrive in a gold foil box with ribbon. If you are gifting it, please let me know so I can include blank stationery with envelope for your use which I am happy to do for all of your purchases in my shop, just inform me at check out.
