Here is an earlier pin from Rousselet with layered filigree metal work, the wired in pearls shoot out from the sides, tiny brass bead detailing that can not be seen, then a pretty blue poured glass bead with larger poured glass faux pearls terminating at the ends, a pearl set into the top metal filigree flower center. A very feminine, pretty and early design.
The elaborate metal design can really be seen on the reverse. It has the typical French trombone clasp we expect to find in good working order. It measures under 2" across and about 3/4" high. In good vintage condition, there show minimal wear to the gold plate on the reverse, and the center pinwheel design is wired in and can move if pushed.
I could not find any signature, but I'm positive it's Rousselet as I've seen the same meal design by him in earlier works. The pin is relatively light. It is pretty old and show a little debris on a few stones, can clean up but I have not touched it.
French in origin, circa 1920-1930.
