Art Deco Early Resin Opaline and Beaded Long Length Necklace
Very popular in the Deco era where the jewelry artist used all kinds of materials to make interesting pieces, this necklace is made of a variety of materials to include wooded and metal beads along with faux pearls and early resin plastic clear and opaline beads, some faceted, some just orbs. The combination is lovely with the browns contrasting the pinks.
So many times we find heavy crystal necklaces from the Art Deco period, and these beads simulate that look, however, because it wasn't made from glass or crystal the necklace is so light and easy to wear around the neck.
Long length it measures 48" total, there are no clasps, it is simply put over the head and worn loosely or can be doubled. In good vintage condition without any missing beads or chips. For those who love unique jewelry, because I've never seen another one like it.
Circa 1920-1930 and is English in origin.
Gender: Female, Age Group: Adult, Color: multi, Size: m
