This beautiful, French, gold plated and lapis stones rosary dates to the early 20th century.

The rosary measures 20½" (53cms) around with a further drop of 5¼" (13cms), including the crucifix.

The rosary has 4mm blue lapis beads with tiny gold flecks. (see photo of beads). They are connected by metal chain with faint traces of original gold wash.. It has an exquisite round centre with a raised image of Mary.

The drop is composed chain and more lapis beads. It is finished with a gold washed crucifix 1 and 7/16”(3.3cms) long.. The crucifix is plain but the golden corpus is finely sculpted and separately applied.

The backs of the centre and crucifix are plain gold washed.

This beautiful rosary with its lovely stones shows slight signs of wear to the crucifix but the stones are in fine condition.. It will arrive in a gift box.
