This lovely cross is marked for 9 carat gold. I believe that it dates to the late Victorian period.

It measures 1 ¼” (3.1cms) long, including the ring, and 11/16” (1.7cms) across. It weighs 1 gram.

The front of the cross is most delicately engraved with leafy motifs and scrolls.

At the top is a ring but no bail.

On the plain back is marked ‘9ct’ for 9 carat gold.

In fine antique condition, this lovely cross will arrive in a gift box.
