This beautiful English sterling silver cross pendant is fully hallmarked for the year 1910.
The cross measures 1 and 5/16” (3.4cms) long, including the ring, by 7/8” (1.9 cms) across. It weighs 1.7 grams.
The cross has a swirling, engraved foliate design on the front.
There is a ring at the top and a bail to hold a chain.
On the plain back are full English hallmarks. First comes the maker’s mark ‘W&R’ for White and Reynolds. Then the lion passant for sterling silver, the three sheaves of wheat for the Chester assay office and finally the date letter ‘K’ for 1910.
This cross is really beautiful and the clear dating from a sought after assay office is a bonus.
It will arrive in a gift box.
